And we hope to see you soon. A Message from Elise Brenner (she/her), PhD, Reiki Practitioner, Teacher, and AuthorI am committed to wellness equity, supporting people of all ages, backgrounds, and health conditions who wish to benefit from Reiki practice, Mindfulness Meditation, and Forest Therapy for general wellness, emotional healing, as well as for relief from specific physical conditions and pain.
I am a strong advocate for Reiki, Mindfulness, and Forest Therapy outreach, education, and empowerment. Brenner Reiki Healing provides comprehensive training in all levels of Reiki; Reiki and Mindfulness mind-body skills workshops to organizations, businesses, and community groups; in-depth mentoring for Reiki professionals; online Reiki and Mindfulness Practice Gatherings; and Forest Therapy to individuals and groups. I am trained in the Usui Reiki Ryoho lineage. I am a certified mindfulness meditation facilitator. And I am a certified Forest Therapy Practitioner Practitioner, certified by IPHM (The International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine) and NCCAP (National Certification Council for Activity Professionals).
My background and experience in trauma-informed, and trauma-responsive care is intentionally brought to Reiki training, Reiki outreach work, Mindfulness Meditation workshops, and Forest Therapy. I am here to gently explore with you and collaborate with you as you align with your inner capacity for wholeness and well-being.
I hold awareness of the impact that systems of cultural and power differences, white supremacy, and violence to individuals and communities, have on health and healing. Together with you, let's establish a sustainable space of safety and liberation. A passion for me is to provide credible, consistent Reiki professional development for Reiki practitioners. I have provided Reiki training for staff at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center staff, Edith Nourse Rogers Veterans Administration Hospital in Bedford, MA, and Tufts Medical Center, and Salem Hospital. As an anthropologist, I have researched cross-cultural healing practices, thereby enriching the scope and depth of my Reiki practice. I recently retired as Assistant Teaching Professor in the Public Health Department at Simmons University. I feel privileged to facilitate healing, resiliency, and mindfulness with the gentle, transformative mind-body-spirit practices and teachings based in the system of Reiki, Mindfulness Meditation, and Forest Therapy. |
Our Guiding Principle: Well-Being Comes from Within
At Brenner Reiki Healing, we believe that the capacity to usher in strengthened well-being, mindfulness, compassion, and peace already exists within every one of us. Sometimes it can be difficult to access that capacity without support due to the turmoil of life. Reiki practice facilitates re-claiming our inner resources so we can move forward with courage, composure, more ease, and even a sense of the sacred in life. And we hope to see you soon.
