Brenner and Judy Bousquin of Healing & Renewal

Compassionate Awareness & Mindfulness for People with Pain (C.A.M.P.)
8 Tuesday evenings online with Elise Brenner and Deborah Rogers
The lived experience of pain is felt on multiple levels: physical, mental-emotional, social, economic, and spiritual. In this 8-week online program, we explore Mindfulness, Compassion, and Somatic practices to fuel our own inner strengths, capacities, and possibilities. The gentle mind-body-spirit skills we develop support us in balancing our nervous system and building inner resources to find calm in the storm of living with chronic pain.
In the C.A.M.P. program we create a safe community in which we feel empowered to share the realities of experiencing an invisible illness. The C.A.M.P. community setting is a salve for the fear and distress we experience living with pain. Facilitators: Elise M. Brenner, PhD, and Deborah A. Rogers, OTR/L, CPT, RM, RYT
Dates: Tuesdays, February 27–April 16 Time: 6:00-7:45 pm, EST Cost: $199 Get full details on Deborah's website: HolisticHealingwithDeborah.com |
What participants are saying
“Sooooo good! This class is full of so much useful information about pain and strategies to help us both manage and alleviate our pain experience. The leaders are compassionate and caring and have a great deal to offer. So very worthwhile.” (J) “I enjoyed being part of this wonderful group and it was always a pleasure to share my experiences and listen to others, as I learned a lot from everybody. Even though we experience pain differently, we all learned to use the tools to make pain work together with us and not see pain as our enemy, as something to be afraid of.” (D.) “I really enjoyed this. I am also doing a MBSR course and I felt this was much more accessible. Time limit was the perfect amount; presentation of experiences are abundant; discussions being optional meant I felt more safety with the group and engagement." |
Community Offerings
Reiki is a practice to cultivate a still mind, from which one's actions derive.

What is Reiki practice? A Japanese mind-body-spirit healing and meditation practice that supports wellness, mindfulness, resilience, and recovery capacity. Reiki practice allows us to attune to our natural impulse toward wholeness.
Why Engage with Reiki practice?
The capacity to usher in strengthened well-being, mindfulness, compassion, and peace already exists within every one of us. Sometimes it can be difficult to access that capacity without support due to the turmoil of life. Reiki practice facilitates re-claiming our inner resources so we can move forward with courage, composure, more ease, and even a sense of the sacred in life. With Reiki practice, we can cultivate a still and quieter mind-body, touching into our own wisdom that points us in the direction of a more whole life.
What is Mindfulness practice?
The practice of bringing awareness to our present moment experiences without judging or fixing them.
Why Engage with Mindfulness Practice?
We get thrown off center in our lives. We find ourselves constantly doing battle with whatever is happening. Mindfulness assists us in practicing authentic, warm presence so we can bring that presence to all aspect of our lives through our words, actions, and relationships.
Why Reiki AND Mindfulness Practice?
The twin practices of mindfulness and Reiki can best be viewed as foundational capacities. Therefore, they can have multiple applications, we might say. Everything from cultivating compassion and kindness, to developing patience, to simply getting along with others, to emotional regulation, to opening to the field of our interconnections on this planet.
